Lindeth Howe is an idyllic, hidden away, country house hotel just a stone’s throw from the shores of Lake Windermere and with historical links to the beloved national treasure that is, Beatrix Potter. With all the quintessential charm of rambling rose, country cottage style gardens, whitewashed walls and a renowned Lakeland grey slate roof, it is so easy to imagine Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddleduck and the rest of the gang in making an appearance.

Inside you will find a quirky and colourful interior of a top notch boutique hotel along with a super helpful and attentive team of staff. It is my personal favourite, which I can highly recommend, for a very delicious afternoon tea enjoyed, of course, with a glass of fizz!

Lindeth Howe is also a perfect place to get married. Whether you want an elopement, just the two of you style wedding, to that of a larger, exclusive to you and your wedding party affair, and everything in between; the team at Lindeth Howe have got you covered.

Emily & Luke celebrated with their immediate family and enjoyed a truly picture perfect wedding day. Intimate weddings are incredibly romantic and personal for you and your nearest and dearest, and are just perfect for twirling!

In choosing the Just Us – elopement wedding flower package and adding extra buttonholes for the gents and a petite posy for her adorable flower girl, Emily had all the floral arrangements she needed.

Hairstylist Katrina at Bowness Bridal Hair and Polly at Make Up by Polly made Emily feel and look every inch the most stunningly glamourous bride.

From whole group shots to those intimate moments, and not forgetting all the tiny details that can get lost in the excitement of the day but are so heartwarming to look back on – Tiree captured all of those precious moments and included a short highlights video as part of her elopement package.
